Headlining Trim Panel Replacement

The one-piece formed headlining trim finish panel consists of molded substrate covered with a foam backed cloth. Install the following components in order to install the headlining trim finish panel:

* The related hardware
* The interior moldings

The headlining trim finish panel is a one-piece construction. Service the panel as a complete assembly.

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the assist strap.
2. Remove the sunshades.
3. Remove the coat hooks.
4. Remove the windshield upper garnish moldings.
5. Remove the center pillar upper trim panels.
6. Remove the quarter trim panel.
7. Remove the finish lace from the sunroof opening trim, if equipped.
8. Remove the retainers from the headlining trim finish panel (3).
9. Remove the headlining trim finish panel (1).
10. Disconnect the wire harness from the headlining trim finish panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Use adhesive tape in order to connect the wire harness to the headlining trim finish panel.

Important: Use care when loading the headlining into the vehicle. Flexing may cause damage to the headlining.

2. Install the headlining trim finish panel (1).
3. Install the retainers to the headlining trim finish panel(3).
4. Install the finish lace to the sunroof opening trim, if equipped.
5. Install the quarter trim panel.
6. Install the center pillar upper trim panels.
7. Install the windshield upper garnish molding.
8. Install the coat hooks.
9. Install the sunshades.
10. Install the assist strap.
