Rear Seat Back Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat back.
2. Place the rear seat back on a surface exhibiting the following conditions:

* Clean
* Dry
* Non-abrasive




3. Remove the latch escutcheon (4).
4. Remove the child comfort guide retainer (3).
5. Remove the child comfort guide (5).
6. Remove the closeout strip (6).
7. Unzip the zippers (5) at the back side of the rear seat back (1).
8. Slide the rear seat back pad and cover upward as necessary, in order to remove the retainers from the rear seat back panel.




9. Remove the rear seat back pad and cover retainers (1).
10. Remove the rear seat back pad and cover (2)
11. Remove the seat back latch rivets (6).
12. Remove the rear seat back latch bolts (7).
13. Remove the rear seat back latch (4).
14. Disconnect the strap (5) from the rear seat back latch (4).

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the strap (5) to the rear seat back latch (4).
2. Install the rear seat back latch (4).
3. Install the rear seat back latch bolts (7).
4. Install the rear seat back latch rivets (6).
5. Install the rear seat back pad and cover (2) as necessary, in order to install the retainers to the rear seat back panel.
6. Install the rear seat back pad and cover (2).
7. Install the rear seat back pad and cover retainers (1).




8. Zip the zippers (3) at the back side of the rear seat back.
9. Install the closeout strip (6).
10. Install the child comfort guide (5).
11. Install the child comfort guide retainer (4).
12. Install the latch escutcheon (2).
13. Install the rear seat back.
