Steering Column Jacket - Disassemble

Disassembly Procedure





1. Remove the lock housing assembly. Refer to Lock Housing Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.
2. Remove the ignition switch assembly. Refer to Ignition Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.
3. Remove the 3 adapter screws (1).
4. Remove the steering column housing assembly (2).





5. Remove the mounting plate (3) from the steering column housing assembly (1).
6. Remove the bearing retainer (2) from the steering column housing assembly (1).
