Rear Floor Panel Carpet Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
2. Disconnect the remaining seat electrical connectors.




3. Remove the front seats.
4. Remove the center console, if equipped.
5. Remove the rear seat cushion.
6. Remove the rear carpet retainer.
7. Remove the rear carpet (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Lay the rear carpet (2) into the vehicle.
2. Route the seat electrical wiring through the carpet.
3. Install the rear carpet retainer.
4. Install the rear seat cushion.
5. Install the center console, if equipped.
6. Install the front seats.
7. Connect the seat electrical connectors.
8. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
