Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER INTAKE DUCT REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Loosen the intake air duct clamps.
3. Remove the intake duct from the air cleaner and rotate the duct upward.
4. Remove the inlet duct by pulling upward and inboard.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the intake air duct on the throttle body.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Rotate the intake air duct down and install the intake air duct onto the air cleaner.

Tighten
Tighten the clamps to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
