Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
2. Remove the A/C pressure sensor.
3. Remove the O-ring seal.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Lubricate the new O-ring using 525 refrigerant oil.




1. Install the O-ring seal.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.

Tighten
Tighten the sensor fitting to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
