Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement (without HUD)

Removal Procedure






Important: Protect the instrument panel pad whenever garnish moldings are removed or installed.

1. Remove left and right windshield garnish moldings.
2. Remove the defroster grille.
3. Remove the instrument panel trim plate bezel.
4. Remove the right side IP outer trim cover.
5. Remove the fasteners that secure the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad to the carrier.
6. Lift the pad upward to disengage the retainers from the IP.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the instrument panel (IP) upper trim pad with the retainers and press down in order to engage.
2. Install the fasteners that secure the IP upper trim pad to the carrier.
3. Install the right IP outer trim cover.
4. Install the instrument panel trim plate bezel.
5. Install the defroster grille.
6. Install the left and the right windshield garnish moldings.
