Backup Lamp: Service and Repair

BACKUP LAMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the tail/backup lamp assembly.




2. Depress the lamp socket latch (1).
3. Twist the lamp socket counterclockwise to remove the lamp socket from the tail/backup lamp assembly.
4. Remove the backup lamp bulb from the lamp socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the backup lamp bulb into the lamp socket.
2. Insert the lamp socket into the tail/backup lamp assembly.
3. Twist the lamp socket until the latch (1) snaps into place.




4. Install the tail/backup lamp assembly.
