Maintenance Indicator Reset

RESETTING THE GM OIL LIFE SYSTEM
(If Equipped With Driver Information Center (DIC))

Always reset the engine oil life to 100% after every oil change. It will not reset itself.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (with engine OFF).

2. Press the SELECT button on the DIC until OIL LIFE appears on the display.

3. While the OIL LIFE is being displayed, press and hold the RESET button for more than five seconds.

- The engine oil life monitor is reset when the display reads 100%.

4. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
