Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair

Yaw Rate Sensor Replacement (w/JL4)
Removal Procedure
1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Remove the rear compartment front trim panel.
3. Remove the rear shelf trim panel.





4. Remove the 2 yaw rate sensor mounting nuts (1).
5. Remove the yaw rate sensor (2).
6. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector (3).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the yaw rate sensor electrical sensor (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the yaw rate sensor (2) nuts.
- Tighten the 2 yaw rate sensor mounting nuts (1) to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
3. Install the rear shelf trim panel.
4. Connect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.
5. Install the rear compartment front trim panel.
6. Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check-ABS.
