Noise Diagnosis - Rear of Vehicle (Rear Compartment Closeout Panel Rattle)





Symptom

Rattle from the rear of the vehicle.

Possible Cause

Rear compartment closeout panel (2) rattles against the side trim.

Diagnosis

Remove the closeout panel (2) and test drive the vehicle.

Corrective Action

Apply a 2 x 5 in foam tape (1) in each corner.
