When the ignition is in the run position, battery positive voltage is supplied to the coil side of the
Daytime Running Lamp (
DRL) relay. Ground for the DRL relay is applied from G 106. Battery positive voltage is supplied to the switch side of the
headlamp switch from the fusible link Z to the switch side of the DRL relay. Battery positive voltage is then supplied to the auxiliary
headlamp fuses 1 and 3 then applied to the low beam headlamps which illuminate at low intensity.
