Headlamp Leveling

This feature provides a method for leveling the headlamp beams. The headlamp leveling switch provides 4 headlamp leveling positions. The switch controls headlamp leveling actuators which are mounted under each headlamp assembly. The headlamp leveling switch is a variable resistor which changes voltage on the headlamp leveling motor voltage signal circuit. A processor inside each actuator interprets the voltage signal, and the processor commands the actuator motors to adjust the headlamp position.

The headlamp switch supplies voltage to the motors and the leveling switch when the headlamp switch is placed in the HEAD position. The motors are grounded at G105 or G106. The headlamp leveling switch is grounded at G200.
