Front Seat Back Hinge Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front bucket seat (1).




2. Remove the screws from the hinge trim cover (2).
3. Remove the hinge trim cover (2) from the seat (1) by carefully pulling out and upward in one motion.
4. Remove the switches (3,4,5) from the hinge trim cover, if equipped.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the switches (3,4,5) to the hinge trim cover, if equipped.




2. Install the hinge trim cover (2) to the front bucket seat (1) by carefully pushing in and downward in one motion.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the screws to the hinge trim cover (2).

Tighten the screws to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in).

4. Install the front bucket seat (1).
