Headlining Trim Panel Replacement
Removal Procedure
The one-piece formed headliner consists of a molded substrate that is covered with a foam-backed cloth facing.
1. Remove the coat hooks.
2. Remove the sunshades.
3. Remove the sunshade anchor.
4. Remove the roof rail assist handle, if equipped.
5. Remove the dome lamp (1).
6. Pull down the door weatherstrips, as required.
7. Remove the sunroof lacing, if equipped.
8. Remove the sunroof switch, if equipped.
9. Remove the windshield side upper garnish moldings.
10. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel.
11. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel.
12. Pull down of the front of the overhead console to release its clips.
13. Pull down the headliner above the left front door. Disconnect the actuator harness connector attached to the headliner.
14. Disconnect the electrical connector to the windshield rear view mirror.
15. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the body harness at the left quarter, upper trim panel.
16. Remove the rear retainers from the headliner.
17. Remove the headliner from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the headliner in the vehicle.
2. Install the rear retainers to the headliner.
3. Connect the wire harness connector to the body harness and the wire harness rosebud.
4. Connect the actuator connector.
5. Connect the electrical connector to the windshield rear view mirror.
6. Install the rear quarter upper trim panel.
7. Install the center pillar upper trim panel.
8. Install the windshield side upper garnish moldings.
9. Push upward on of the front of the overhead console to retain its clips.
10. Install the sunroof switch if equipped.
11. Install the sunroof lacing.
12. Install the door weatherstrips.
13. Install the dome lamp.
14. Install the roof rail assist handle.
15. Install the sunshade anchor.
16. Install the sunshades.
17. Install the coat hooks.
