HORN REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the right headlamp assembly in order to gain access to the horn. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement (Pontiac) or Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement (Oldsmobile) in Lighting and Horns.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the horn.
3. Remove the horn bracket mounting bolt (3) from the front impact bar.
4. Remove the horn from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the horn to the front impact bar.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the horn bracket mounting bolt (3) to the front impact bar.

Tighten
Tighten the horn bracket mounting bolt (3) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the horn.
4. Install the right headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement (Pontiac) or Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement (Oldsmobile) in Lighting and Horns.
