Instrument Panel Storage Compartment - Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) compartment hinge screws.
2. Open the IP compartment.




3. Press inward on both sides of the IP compartment housing and rotate down and out in order to remove the housing from the instrument panel

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the IP compartment housing with the instrument panel
2. Press inward on both sides of the IP compartment housing and rotate upward and inward in order to install the housing into the instrument panel




3. Hand tighten the IP compartment hinge screws.
4. Align the IP compartment housing in order to ensure the proper fit.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the IP compartment hinge screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

6. Close the IP compartment.
