Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear door.
2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
3. Remove the lower rear corner of the water deflector to allow access to the rear door window regulator motor.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear door window regulator motor.




5. Remove the rear door window regulator motor to door screws.
6. Position the rear door window regulator motor through the access opening to allow removal of the rear door window regulator motor to regulator screws.
7. Remove the rear door window regulator motor to regulator screws.
8. Remove the rear door window regulator motor and bracket from the rear door.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the rear door window regulator motor and bracket to the rear door window regulator.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the rear door window regulator motor to regulator screws.

Tighten the rear door window regulator motor to regulator screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Position the rear door window regulator motor through the opening in the door.
4. Install the rear door window regulator motor to door screws.

Tighten the rear door window regulator motor to door screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Connect the electrical connector to the rear door window regulator motor.
6. Install the lower rear corner of the water deflector.

Important: Discard the old door trim panel retainers and replace with new retainers before installing the door trim panel.


7. Install the new door trim panel retainers to the door.
8. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
9. Close the rear door.
