Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair.
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair.
3. Remove the outside mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror Replacement) .
4. Remove the front door window inner belt sealing strip. Refer toFront Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
5. Remove the front door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
6. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Remove the bolts from the front door window weatherstrip.




8. Remove the front door window weatherstrip from the front door (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Position the front door window weatherstrip to the front door (3) starting in the corner.
2. Firmly seat the front door window weatherstrip to the door, working out in both directions.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the bolts to the front door window weatherstrip.

Tighten the front door window weatherstrip bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the front door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
6. Install the front door window inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
7. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair.
8. Install the outside mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror Replacement) .
9. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
