Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Remove the front door water deflector.
3. Remove the outside mirror.
4. Remove the front door window inner belt sealing strip.
5. Remove the front door window outer belt sealing strip.
6. Remove the front door window.
7. Remove the bolts from the front door window weatherstrip.




8. Remove the front door window weatherstrip from the front door (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the front door window weatherstrip to the front door (3) starting in the comer.
2. Firmly seat the front door window weatherstrip to the door, working out in both directions.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the bolts to the front door window weatherstrip.

Tighten
Tighten the front door window weatherstrip bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the front door window.
5. Install the front door window outer belt sealing strip.
6. Install the front door window inner sealing strip.
7. Install the front door water deflector.
8. Install the outside mirror.
9. Install the front door trim panel.
