Rear Seat Back Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) .
2. Remove the anchor nuts that secure the rear seat retainer at the bottom of the seat back.
3. Remove the center seat belt buckle nuts. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear.
4. Grasp the bottom of the seat back. Swing upward on the seat back in order to disengage the offsets on the upper frame bar from the hangers.
5. Lift the seat back upwards in order to remove the seat back.
6. Remove the seat back from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the seat back into the vehicle.
2. Install the seat back upper frame to the hangers.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the rear seat back anchor nuts.
Tighten the rear seat back anchor nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
4. Install the rear seat center belt nuts.
Tighten the rear seat center belt nuts to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
5. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) .
