Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER INTAKE DUCT REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.
2. Loosen the air inlet hose clamp.
3. Carefully remove the air inlet hose from the throttle body and air cleaner cover.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Carefully install the air inlet hose to the throttle body and air cleaner cover.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the air inlet hose clamp.

Tighten
Tighten the clamp to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
