Front Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Place front door window in the halfway down position.
2. Remove the run channel weather-strip from the window (1).
3. Remove the front door trim panel.
4. Remove the front door water reflector.




5. Remove the nuts which retain the front door window to the window regulator.
6. Remove the front door window (1) from the front door.




7. Remove the sash rivet (1) from the sash.
8. Remove the sash (2) from the window.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the sash on the window.
2. Install the sash rivet (1).




3. Slide the window down into the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the nuts which retain the window to the window regulator.

Tighten the window sash nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Install the run channel weather-strip to the window.
6. Install the front door water deflector.
7. Install the front door trim panel.
8. Install the run channel weather strip to the window (1).
