Rear Compartment Lid Adjustment

You may adjust the rear compartment lid using one of the following methods.

Procedure A

1. Loosen the compartment lid hinge bolts. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement.
2. Adjust the compartment lid clearance. Adjust the rubber bumpers if necessary.
3. Tighten the compartment lid hinge bolts. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement.

Procedure B

1. Remove the rear window panel trim.
2. Loosen the compartment lid hinge bolts at the rear window panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement.
3. Adjust the compartment lid clearance. Adjust the rubber bumpers if necessary.
4. Tighten the compartment lid hinge bolts at the rear window panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement.
5. Install the rear window panel trim.
