Electrical System Indicator

SERVICE VEHICLE SOON
The IPC illuminates the service vehicle soon indicator when any of the following occur:
^ The IPC part number does not match the programmed model configuration number.
^ The BCM detects a PASSLOCK(TM) fault. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the BCM requesting illumination.
^ The BCM stores specific lighting and horn codes. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the BCM requesting illumination.
^ The BCM detects a passive trunk release fault. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the BCM requesting illumination.
^ The EBCM detects a traction control system failure. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination.
^ The IPC performs the displays test at the start of each ignition cycle. The indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.
