Standard Models (Non-Alternative Fuels)

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the fuel pump connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Start and run the engine until the fuel supply remaining in the fuel pipes is consumed.
Engage the starter for 3 seconds in order to assure relief of any remaining pressure.
5. Raise the vehicle.
6. Reconnect the fuel pump connector.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Disconnect the negative battery cable in order to avoid possible fuel discharge if an accidental attempt to start the engine is made.
