Tilt Head Housing - Disassemble

- J23653-SIR Lock Plate Compressor

1. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil-Disassemble-Off Vehicle.





2. Remove and dispose of the bearing retainer using J23653-SIR.





3. Remove the shaft lock (1).
4. Remove the turn signal cancel cam assembly (2).
5. Remove the upper bearing spring (3).
6. Remove the upper bearing inner race seat (4)
7. Remove the inner race (5).
