100. Case Cover and Gaskets Assemble

1. Use TRANSJEL(R) or equivalent in order to secure the drive sprocket thrust washer (414) onto the case cover.





2. Position the inner and the outer case cover seals (415, 416) onto the case.
3. Install the 1-2 accumulator spring (419) into the case.





4. Carefully position the case cover assembly (401) onto the case.





5. Install the case cover bolts (refer to the next illustration) into the case cover at the locations shown. Begin to tighten the bolts with your fingers.
- Tighten the bolts as shown to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

IMPORTANT: The bolts used to secure the case cover are model sensitive. Pay particular attention to the type and location of each bolt.





6. Locate the correct bolts.
