123. Intermediate Servo Apply Pin Length Check
Intermediate Servo Apply Pin Length CheckTools Required
- J28535 Intermediate Band Apply Pin Gage
1. Install the intermediate servo apply pin (129) trom the disassembled servo into the case intermediate servo bore.
2. Install the J 28535 onto the case (15). Position the tool pin on top of the servo pin (129).
3. Using a torque wrench, tighten J28535.
Tighten
Tighten J28535 to 11 N.m (100 lb in)
4. Look for the white line to appear in the window:
- It the white line appears in the window, the pin length is correct
- If the white line appears above the window, the pin is too short
- It the white line appears below the window, the pin is too long
5. Select the correct pin (129).
6. Repeat the test procedure in order to verify the correct pin selection.
7. Remove J28535.
