67. Low Roller Clutch React End Play Check

Tools Required
- J 26958 Output Shaft Aligning & Loading Tool
- J 26958-10 Adaptor Plug
- J 25025 Dial Indicator Post
- J 28588 Gage
- J 8001 Dial Indicator
- J 28585 Snap Ring Remover





1. Set the J 8001 dial indicator so that the pointer is at zero.

IMPORTANT: The J 26958 and J 26958-10 should still be in position from the Reaction Sun Gear to Input Drum End Play Check procedure.

2. Use J 28585 and carefully pry up on the reaction internal gear (668).
3. The J 8001 dial indicator should read 0.08-1.17 mm (0.003-0.046 inch).
4. Use the chart below in order to select the correct selective spacer for the low roller clutch race.
5. Remove the J 8001 and the J 28588.
