Shift Lever - Assemble - Off Vehicle





1. Install the shift lever seal (2) onto the shift lever (4).

Caution: Refer to SIR Inflator Module Coil Caution in Service Precaution.

2. Install the shift lever (4) and secure it with the shift lever screw (3).
Tighten the screw to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).
3. Slide the shift lever seal (2) down the shift lever (4).





4. Reconnect the shift lever connector.

Caution: Refer to SIR Inflator Module Coil Caution in Service Precaution.

5. Install the wire harness straps.





6. Install the wire harness assembly into the wire restraint clip (1).
7. Install the upper and lower trim covers.
8. Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
