Pressure Relief Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear bumper fascia.




2. Remove or pull back the driver-side rear carpet to expose the pressure relief valve.
3. Remove the pressure relief valve (1) by depressing retaining tabs from inside the valve housing.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the pressure relief valve (1) into body cavity (2).

Important: Ensure that the pressure relief valve (1) is fully seated allowing the housing tabs to expand behind sheet metal. Verify secure engagement by pulling lightly on valve to ensure it is secured.

2. Reinstall or configure the driver-side rear carpet to the original location.
3. Install the rear bumper fascia.
