Hinge Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid (Convertible)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear compartment lid panel.




2. Remove the bolts (4).
3. Remove the adjustment bumper bolt (5).
4. Remove the bolts (3).
5. Remove the hinges (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the hinges.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the adjustment bumper bolt (5).

Tighten the bumper bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Install the bolts (3).

Tighten the bumper bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

5. Install the rear compartment lid panel (2).
