Lock Striker Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid

Removal Procedure

1. Open the window panel.
2. Remove the rear compartment lift window inner panel cover.




3. Remove the nuts (2).
4. Remove the striker (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the striker (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nuts (2).

Tighten the nuts (2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the rear compartment lift window inner panel cover.
4. Inspect the window panel operation. Adjust as needed.
