Trim Panel Replacement - Cargo Area Side

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the rear compartment lift window.
2. Unsnap and remove the sunshade.




3. With a small flat-bladed tool unlock the right side retainers by rotating a quarter turn.
4. Begin removing the inner trim finishing panels (1) by first lifting the panels from the front corner.




5. Completely remove the panels (1) by lifting on the front, gently unseating the remaining retainers.
6. Remove the speaker electrical connections (3) from speakers (4).
7. If you are replacing a trim panel, perform the following steps:

* Disconnect the speaker grille.
* Remove the rear speakers from panels.
* Remove the retainers.

Installation Procedure

1. If you are replacing a trim panel, perform the following steps:

* Install the retainers to each trim panel (1).
* Install the rear speakers to the trim panels.
* Install the speaker grille.




2. Connect the speaker electrical connections (3) to speakers (4).

Important: Install the inner trim finishing panels (1).

3. Align the 3 retainers with the holes in the body and press down firmly to engage the clips. Ensure that the clips click into place.




4. With a small flat-bladed tool lock the right side retainers by rotating a quarter turn.
5. Install the sunshade by snapping the sunshade into position.
6. Lower the rear compartment lift window.
