Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Service and Repair

TRANSMITTER BATTERY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Insert a coin into the slot on the transmitter.
2. Carefully turn the coin in the slot until the cover releases.




3. Remove the cover while being careful not to damage the seal.
4. Remove the battery from the transmitter.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install a new battery, CR 2032 or equivalent.
2. Inspect that the seal is properly positioned.
3. Snap the two halves together.
4. Synchronize the transmitter to the receiver. Refer to Transmitter Programming and Transmitter Synchronization.
