Weatherstrip Retainer Protector and Seal - Side

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the folding top to a suitable working position.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the upper rear weatherstrip from the front side door window.




4. Remove the weatherstrip retainer bolt (4) from the front side door window.
5. Remove the weatherstrip retainer (3) from the front side door window.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the weatherstrip retainer (3) to the front side door window.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the weatherstrip retainer bolt (4) to the front side door window.

Tighten the bolt to 1.3 N.m (12 lb in).

3. Install the weatherstrip to the front side door window.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
5. Raise the folding top.
