Power Roof System

The power roof system Consists of the following components:
^ Folding top switch
^ Folding top pump
^ Power roof system circuit breaker WINDOWS CKT BRKR 30 A
^ Ground G201
^ Ground G110 with ETA
^ Folding top relay with ETA
^ Park neutral position switch with automatic transmission.

A vehicle equipped with ETA will have a folding top relay, that will allow the folding top to operate only when the vehicle is in PARK or NEUTRAL. The folding top relay coil supply voltage is hot with the vehicle in ACCY, RUN or during RAP through the ignition 3 voltage circuit. A ground signal is provided to the folding top relay switch input. A path from ground G110 is provided to the park neutral position switch. When the vehicle is in PARK or NEUTRAL a ground path is completed from G110, through the park neutral position switch through the neutral safety switch circuit, through the A/T shift lock solenoid supply voltage circuit to the folding top relay control circuit, energizing the folding top relay. The folding top relay switch will close and apply the ground circuit to the folding top switch to supply both the convertible top motor up and down circuits.
