Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement - Rear (W/Traction Control)

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (2).
3. Clean all dirt and debris from the sensor housing/sensor interface area.
4. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt.
5. Remove the wheel speed sensor (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the wheel speed sensor (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the wheel speed sensor bolt.
^ Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
3. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (2).
4. Lower the vehicle.
