78. Valve Lifter Installation

Valve Lifter Installation





1. Dip the valve lifters in prelude GM P/N United States 12345501, GM P/N Canada 992704 or the equivalent.
2. Install the valve lifters.
3. Install the valve lifter guides.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the valve lifter guide bolts.
^ Tighten the valve lifter guide bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
