Reduced Engine Power

The IPC illuminates the REDUCED ENG PWR indicator when the following occurs:
^ The PCM detects a malfunction in the engine. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination.
^ The IPC performs the displays test at the start of each ignition cycle.
^ The IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with the PCM.
