Mainshaft Rear Oil Seal Replacement
^ Tools Required
- J 23907 Slide Hammer with Bearing Adapter
- J 26941 Bushing and Bearing Remover
- J 21426 Extension Housing Seal Installer

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the propeller shaft.
2. Remove the output shaft seal using d 23907 and J 26941.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the output shaft seal using J 21426.





2. Lubricate the inside diameter of the seal. Use Dexron III automatic transmission fluid or equivalent.
3. Install the propeller shaft.
4. Check the transmission fluid level.
