Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front side door trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.




3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from all components in door.
4. Remove the wiring harness grommet (3) from door (1).
5. Remove the crosscar and front side door wiring harness from door.
6. Support the door in preparation for the door removal.
7. Remove the upper (2) and the lower hinge nuts (4).
8. With the aid of an assistant, remove the door from vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. With the aid of an assistant, install the door to the upper and lower hinges.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the upper (2) and lower hinge nuts (4).

Tighten the nuts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

3. Install the crosscar and the front side door wiring harness to the door.
4. Install the wiring harness grommet (3) to the door (1).
5. Connect the electrical connectors to all components in the door.
6. Install the water deflector.
7. Install the front side door trim panel.
