Engine Support Fixture

- J 36462-A Engine Support Adapter Leg





1. Remove two strut mounting nuts from the left and right strut towers.
2. Screw the engine support fixture adapters J 28467-90A onto the strut tower studs.
3. Set the engine support adapters J 41044 over the support fixture adapters J28467-90A on each strut tower.
4. Secure with the wings nuts provided.
5. Place the cross bar from J 28467-B onto the engine support adapters J 41044.
6. Secure with the quick release pins.
7. Install the fixture support leg from J 28467-3 through the cross bracket J 28467-1A on the top of the cross bar J 28467-3.
8. Place the rubber padded foot of the front support J 28467-4A on the radiator support.
9. Install the tube of the front support J 28467-4A through the large hole in the support leg J 28467-2A until level.
10. Install the quick release pin.
11. Install the support leg J 36462-A through the cross bracket J 28467-1A on the top of the cross bar J 28467-3.
12. Bolt the lifting brackets to the cylinder heads.
13. Thread lift hooks J 28467-50 and J 28467-8 or (8A) into the support hook brackets J 28467-6A.
14. Place the support hook brackets J 28467-6A over the cross bar J 28467-3 and connect the hooks to the lifting brackets.
15. Tighten the large wing nuts J 28467-34.
