Horn Switch Replacement - On Vehicle (Pontiac)

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Disconnect the horn wiring connector (1) from the steering column.
2. Remove the horn wiring connector bolts (2).
3. Remove the horn switch (3) from the steering wheel (4).

Installation Procedure





1. Position the horn switch (3) to the steering wheel (4).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the horn wiring connector bolts (2).
- Tighten the horn wiring connector bolts to 1.9 Nm (17 inch lbs.).
3. Connect the horn wiring connector (1) to the steering column.
