Availability of New Micro 64 Electrical Terminals for Wiring Repairs

2002 Cadillac Seville
2002 Chevrolet Cavalier
2002 Oldsmobile Alero
2002 Pontiac Grand Am, Sunfire

This bulletin is being revised to add the Oldsmobile Alero to the models affected. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 01-08-45-006 (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).

The models listed above use a new Micro 64 wiring connection system at several components in the vehicle. The previous essential tool, J 38125 Terminal Repair kit, does not currently have the Micro 64 terminal removal pick or terminals to properly service these connections. A future update to your J 38125 kit will include the proper terminals, terminal pick and a new crimping tool.





If you need to perform a terminal replacement on any Micro 64 connection shown, you can order J 38125-64SPL kit from Kent-Moore at 1-800-GM-TOOLS. This kit contains 10 pre-terminated wire leads, 10 splice insulators and one terminal removal tool.
