Door Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Remove the front door water deflector.
3. Remove the front door speaker.
4. Remove the front door inside handle bezel.
5. Remove the front door rear view mirror.
6. Remove the front door outside door handle.
7. Remove the front door inside door handle.
8. Remove the front door window regulator.
9. Remove the front door rubber conduit.
10. Remove the front door window.
11. Remove the front door lock.
12. Remove the wiring harness from the front door.
13. Remove the front door check link.
14. Support the front door.




15. Remove the intermediate hinge bolts.
16. Lift the door assembly upward and outward in order to separate the hinge.
17. Mark the location and remove the hinge from the door. Refer to Hinge Replacement - Front Door.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the hinge to the door.
2. Align the two sections of the upper and lower hinges in order to install the intermediate hinge bolts.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the intermediate hinge bolts.

Tighten the door imtermediate hinge bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Remove the support from the front door.
5. Install the wiring harness to the front door.
6. Install the front door check link.
7. Install the front door rear view mirror.
8. Install the front door outside door handle.
9. Install the front door inside door handle.
10. Install the front door window regulator.
11. Install the front door rubber conduit.
12. Install the front door window.
13. Install the front door lock.
14. Adjust the door for proper alignment, if necessary.
15. Install the wiring harness from the front door.
16. Install the front door speaker.
17. Install the front door water deflector.
18. Install the front door trim panel.
19. Carefully close the front door.
20. Inspect the front door for proper alignment.
