Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel Insert.
2. Remove the remote control from the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (manual only).
3. Remove the front door trim panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector, if power.




5. Remove the front door inner panel mirror insulator (3).
6. Remove the outside rearview mirror nuts (2).
7. Remove the outside rearview mirror (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Position the outside rearview mirror to the front door.
2. Install the nuts to the outside rearview mirror (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Tighten the outside rearview mirror nuts in the following order:

1. Top
2. Forward
3. Rear

Tighten the outside rearview mirror nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




4. Install the front door inner panel mirror insulator (3).
5. Connect the electrical connector, if power.
6. Install the front door trim panel.
7. Install the remote control to the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (manual only).
8. Install the front door trim panel insert.
