Mirror Replacement - Remote

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel.




2. Align the notch in the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (1) with the tab in the hole at the front of the armrest.
3. Push on the base of the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel in order to remove the bezel from the door trim panel.




4. Remove the front door inner panel mirror insulator (3).
5. Remove the outside rearview mirror nuts (2).
6. Remove the outside rearview mirror (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the outside rearview mirror.
2. Install the outside rearview mirror nuts (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Tighten the outside rearview mirror nuts in the following order:

1. Top
2. Forward
3. Rear

Tighten the outside rearview mirror nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




4. Install the front door inner panel mirror insulator (3).




5. Align the notch in the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (1) with the tab in the hole at the front of the armrest.
6. Push on the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (1) in order to secure the bezel.
7. Install the front door trim panel.
