Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Apply the park brake.
2. Adjust the shift lever to LOW.
3. Using a small flat-bladed tool, remove the ignition switch bezel.




4. Using a flat-bladed tool, disengage the accessory trim plate from the I/P.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Remove the cigar lighter from the accessory trim plate, if required.
7. Remove the mounting plate bracket from the I/P accessory switch, if required.
8. Remove the accessory trim plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the mounting plate bracket to the I/P accessory switch, if required.
2. Install the cigar lighter to the I/P accessory trim plate, if required.
3. Connect the electrical connectors.
4. Install the I/P accessory trim plate by pressing the plate into place until fully seated.




5. Install the ignition switch bezel. Press the bezel into place until fully seated.
6. Adjust the shift lever to PARK.
7. Release the park brake.
